ReMEDY: How to Perform a Literature Review for Your Research Article

Performing a literature review is an essential part of an academic article. This workshop will dive into the essentials of conducting a literature review to optimize your research, including what you need to consider when writing a literature review, and how best to approach it.  

Join us to learn: 

  • how to define the goals of your literature review 
  • the sources for finding appropriate literature
  • the steps in performing a literature review
  • tips for writing the literature review section of a research paper. 

Following the didactic portion, there will be opportunities for collaboration and support. Please bring your work-in-progress case studies or ongoing research that can be shared with peers for feedback and discussion.  Tools, downloads and resources discussed during this session will be posted in the ReMEDY course materials the week following this session. Please note that only the didactic portion of this workshop will be recorded.

    Dr Lynn Keenan has been helping couples through restorative reproductive medicine since 2000, and has served on the IRRMA board for over 12 years. Previously has previously served  on the IIRRM board as well as President of CANFP for 10 years. She recently retired from her position as Sleep Medicine Fellowship Director at UCSF Fresno and is looking forward to having more time to support research in RRM. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
