Instructions and requirements for submitting and presenting research abstracts
1. Abstracts are welcome in any area relevant to Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM). RRM seeks to understand, restore, and support the natural processes of human reproduction and excludes interventions that suppress, destroy, or circumvent normal human reproduction. Specific areas of interest include:
- infertility
- integrated systems of Restorative Reproductive Medicine
- reproductive endocrinology
- women’s reproductive health management
- andrology
- reproductive epidemiology
- functional and integrative health approaches to women’s health and fertility
- reproductive anatomy and physiology
- psychosocial dimensions of human reproduction
- environmental factors impacting human reproductive health
- research comparing restorative and non-restorative approaches to reproductive medicine
- fertility awareness
- other topics relevant to Restorative Reproductive Medicine
2. Abstracts may be of original research, systematic literature reviews, theoretical development, systematic clinical observation, or clinical quality improvement. Abstracts should reflect work that is completed or in process but not yet published.
3. All abstracts must be received no later than 1 January 2026.
4. Abstracts are limited to a maximum of 500 words, including the title. The only identifier in the abstract text should be the title (no authors or affiliations). Abstracts should not contain charts, diagrams, or tables. Case reports and case series are also encouraged to submit their abstracts.
5. All abstracts must be submitted using the online abstract submission system. If you are submitting multiple abstracts for presentation each abstract must be submitted separately.
6. You will receive an acknowledgement of your abstract submission immediately after submission. If you do not receive confirmation, please send an email to support@irrma.org to make sure we have received your abstract.
7. Each abstract is reviewed blindly and will be judged for scientific quality, innovation, and relevance to and consistency with a restorative approach to reproductive medicine.
8. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by 8 January 2026.
9. The contact details submitted should be those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
10. The presenting author, or designated co-author, must register for the conference and pay the meeting registration fee.
11. If your abstract is accepted for presentation, you will need to complete and sign a speaker disclosure form, including disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest. The Abstract submitter grants the Organizer license to reproduce, publish, and distribute the text of the abstract. If your abstract is accepted, you will be asked to submit a current biosketch, 100 words or less, by 15 January 2026
12. Oral Presentations should be 15 minutes in length, including time for questions. You will be permitted a maximum of 1 oral presentation in the program. Additional presentations will be considered for poster presentation only.
13. Research posters will be displayed on our website and attendees are invited to view and comment on digital posters before and after the conference as well as during breaks. Posters should identify the paper’s title, authors and their affiliations at the top or bottom of their poster. General information about formatting and set up of your poster can be found here. Please note that posters will be posted and shared virtually for this conference (no printing will be needed).
14. Accepted abstracts will be published on the Institute of Restorative Reproductive Medicine of America website during and after the conference.
